Good Times, Great Eats!

Departing from the Jasper Train Depot, our Ride & Dine excursions are a round-trip dining experience. Guests travel in style aboard beautifully renovated, climate-controlled cars complete with comfortable seating and restrooms. In this new season riding the rails, The Spirit of Jasper will embark from the Jasper Train Depot in Jasper, IN, traveling south toward Huntingburg where it will travel alongside the Patoka River in the distance, through scenic wetlands, majestic and towering woodlands, and beautiful rolling pastures. The train will rest in rolling fields and woodlands just prior to entering Huntingburg, where a spectacular dinner will be served to passengers while they enjoy the scenery and conversation. Upon completion of dinner, the train Conductor will announce to the Engineer that passengers are ready to return and the 80 ton locomotive will begin the trek back to the Jasper Train Depot.

$70 per person.

The Ride & Dines will feature a delicious dinner and beverage catered by Sander Catering, a locally owned, catering service.

There will also be a cash bar available in the Parlour Car 400. Please note: the bar is cash only; credit cards will not be accepted on board the train.

• Regular Ride & Dines depart from the Jasper Train Depot at 6:00 p.m. ET and return at 8:30 p.m. ET.
• Saturday Pizza & Beer Ride & Dine depart at 6:00 p.m. ET and return at 8:30 p.m. ET.
• Saturday Chocolate, Wine, and Dines depart at 6:00 p.m. ET and return at 8:30 p.m. ET.
• Saturday Spirit of Autumn Ride & Dines depart at 4:00 p.m. ET and return at 6:30 p.m. ET.
• Sunday Spirit of Autumn Ride & Dines depart at 11:30 a.m. ET and return at 2:00 ET.
